Technical Applications Manager – H-Power
H-Power is a UK-based, AIM-listed clean energy company developing zero-emissions hydrogen power systems. Using ammonia to produce low-carbon hydrogen at the point of need, and fuel cells to convert it into reliable, off-grid power, H-Power offers a scalable, practical alternative to fossil fuels, serving construction, infrastructure, transport and power generation sectors.
Behind the technology is a team driven by a shared purpose: to accelerate the shift away from fossil fuels.
The Role
H-Power is seeking a Technical Applications Manager to play a key role in the deployment of its ammonia cracking and hydrogen power generation technologies.
Acting as the technical interface between customers, engineering and project delivery teams, you will work closely with prospective customers to understand their operational requirements, develop integrated technical solutions and support the successful deployment of H-Power’s technologies.
This is a highly visible, customer-facing role combining technical expertise, applications engineering and solution development. You'll help customers understand how H-Power’s technology can be integrated into their existing operations, supporting projects from initial technical discussions through to implementation.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
