Job Description
We’re looking for a Technical Application Specialist to join the Assured Build team, supporting the delivery of secure, scalable platforms across LBG.
Assured Build is a CSO centre of excellence service that enables Platforms and Infrastructure (hardware, software and firmware) to meet Security Relevant Configuration (SRC) requirements.
We support teams by:
- Assuring security configurations in both static build artefacts and CI/CD pipelines
- Driving greater automation, consistency, and reuse of security artefacts
- Embedding security earlier into the engineering lifecycle

- Assessing systems against internal security frameworks, design and baseline build requirements
- Using DevOps tools and automation to improve how security artefacts are reviewed and approved
- Partner with Cloud Security Engineers and platform teams to drive reuse and standardisation of security artefacts
- Configure and support cloud security policies and portals
- Evaluating the impact of technology roadmap changes on security patterns and controls
- Contribute to the development and improvement of cyber security services, including processes, templates, and documentation
- Identify improvement opportunities and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Support delivery of change initiatives, working with project and programme teams where needed
- Deliver practical, scalable solutions that meet customer and business needs
And any experience of these would be great
- A strong technical foundation with the ability to quickly learn and adapt
- An outcome-focused approach — balancing delivery pace with quality and detail
- Broad understanding of cyber security domains, including cloud security (Azure and/or GCP)
- Hands-on technical experience, including the ability to read and interpret code
