About the Role

This is an opportunity for a technically focused and delivery-driven Technical Architect or Architectural Technician to join a London-based residential developer delivering high-end, design-led residential and heritage projects across Central London.

The company is recognised for its integrated approach to development, combining creative, technical, and commercial expertise into a highly collaborative and streamlined delivery process, from shell and core through to interiors and final finishes.

The role will focus on large-scale and technically complex residential and heritage-led schemes, working primarily across RIBA Stages 3–5+. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing coordinated technical packages, managing consultant and subcontractor coordination, and supporting successful project delivery through both detailed technical design and on-site involvement.

This position is suited to someone who enjoys technical stages, thrives in detailed problem-solving, and is confident working across both micro and macro levels of project delivery within a client-side environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and coordinate detailed architectural and façade design packages across complex residential and heritage projects.
  • Lead technical design development through RIBA Stages 3–5, ensuring information is coordinated, buildable, and delivered to programme.
  • Produce, manage, and review detailed drawing packages, specifications, schedules, and tender documentation.
  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and specialist suppliers throughout technical and construction stages.
  • Support tender processes, package coordination, and construction sequencing.
  • Oversee technical delivery on-site, responding to RFIs, site queries, and technical coordination issues as projects progress.
  • Monitor design quality and ensure technical consistency throughout all project stages.
  • Collaborate closely with internal development, design, and construction teams to support efficient project delivery.
  • Maintain clear communication with clients, consultants, stakeholders, and wider project teams.
  • Support compliance with UK Building Regulations, Building Safety Act requirements, and Gateway processes where applicable.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
