About The Role

This role is for a seasoned Technical or Solutions Architect with deep expertise in full-stack development and the Microsoft Power Platform. The position involves leading architecture and design across multiple projects, overseeing end-to-end technical delivery, and driving innovation through rapid prototyping. Key responsibilities include stakeholder engagement, agile delivery, and mentoring development teams to uphold best practices. Candidates should have experience with cloud platforms (preferably Azure), DevOps, integration design, and architecture governance. Strong communication and multitasking skills are essential. Desirable qualifications include Microsoft certifications, public sector experience, and knowledge of data governance and security frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architecture & Design: Define and own technical architecture across multiple projects and teams, ensuring scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.
  • End-to-End Delivery Oversight: Lead technical delivery from ideation through to deployment, including POCs and POVs (Proof of Value).
  • Power Platform Expertise: Architect and guide development on Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with the business and technical stakeholders to ensure the requirements meet the business needs.
  • Multi-Tasking & Prioritisation: Manage multiple concurrent initiatives, balancing strategic and tactical priorities, with a collaborative approach.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to development teams, ensuring best practices and quality standards are adhered to.
  • Agile & Nimble Delivery: Operate effectively in agile environments, adapting quickly to changing requirements and priorities.
  • Innovation & POC Development: Rapidly prototype and validate new concepts and technologies to demonstrate value with the customer.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Technical Architect or a Solutions Architect with a strong full stack software development background, with a proven history of full-lifecycle solution delivery.
  • Experience using or similar no code platforms - Microsoft Power Platform and related technologies.
  • A good problem-solving approach in delivering complex and challenging solutions.
  • Previous experience in architecture governance TDA – Technical Design Authority.
  • Experience delivering complex solutions across enterprise environments.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and integration design patterns and principals.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Comfortable working in both leadership and hands-on capacities.
  • Good stakeholder communicator and engagement.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Microsoft certifications (e.g., Power Platform Solution Architect, Azure and or AWS Architect).
  • Experience in public sector and other regulated industries.
  • Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
  • Security Clearance.
  • Previous experience as an engineer would be ideal but not essential.
