Are you a driven and technically minded turf professional with a passion for sports surface management? Do you have a solid understanding of the golf industry and the products that support elite sportsturf performance? If so, we want to hear from you.
OAS are a rapidly growing market leader in the golf and fine turf sector, and we are looking for a Technical Area Sales Manager to join our team and drive sales growth across the North East of Scotland. Location: Highland Grampian and Tayside /North east of Scotland Sector: Golf & Fine Turf | Agronomy | Technical Sales
The Role:
Build strong, long-lasting relationships with Greenkeepers, Course Managers, grounds teams and other key stakeholders. Drive sales and revenue growth across your territory by leveraging our broad and diverse market-leading product portfolio. Provide agronomic support and technical advice, helping customers get the best from our products and solutions. Work independently and proactively to identify opportunities, influence decision-makers, and close business. Contribute to new product development, providing market insight and feedback to R&D and marketing teams. Play a key role in developing and delivering marketing strategies, tailored to your region’s needs and opportunities. Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure customer success and company growth.

Skills required:
Proven experience in a technical role within the golf or fine turf sector. Strong technical understanding of the golf market including of turf products, soil health, nutrition and/or plant protection. A natural relationship-builder with excellent communication skills – able to connect with customers at all levels. Self-motivated and independent thinker, with the initiative and ambition to make things happen. Enthusiastic about career growth in a company that values innovation, teamwork and continuous improvement. Comfortable working as part of a collaborative team where your input is valued and encouraged.
