Technical Asset (Manager) Analyst
12 month – Fixed Term Contract – extension likely
Location: Home Based (UK Wide)
We are seeking an experienced Technical Asset (Manager) Analyst to support a major asset verification and data quality programme across a national property portfolio.
This is a highly analytical and compliance-focused role, responsible for reviewing, validating and quality assuring building asset information to ensure data is accurate, complete, compliant and fit for operational use.
Working within the Asset Verification and Data Validation (AV/DV) team, you will assess incoming M&E and building fabric asset survey data, ensuring assets are correctly identified, classified and aligned to statutory maintenance requirements and SFG20 standards.
This is not a surveying role and does not involve carrying out physical asset surveys. Instead, the successful candidate will spend the majority of their time reviewing asset registers, survey outputs, floor plans and technical data to ensure the integrity and compliance of the asset database.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and validate incoming M&E and building fabric asset data.
- Verify assets against existing client asset registers and maintenance records.
- Ensure building, floor and room information aligns with survey documentation and floor plans.
- Validate asset naming conventions and maintenance classifications.
- Confirm assets are correctly aligned to SFG20 maintenance schedules.
- Identify missing, duplicate or incorrectly categorised assets.
- Review data against engineering, statutory and compliance requirements.
- Perform detailed quality assurance checks across large volumes of asset information.
- Maintain robust document control, audit trails and version management processes.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
