The Role
To keep our world-class systems running at their best, we’re looking for a Technical Assistant (Shift) to join our Engineering Operations team – helping maintain equipment, support maintenance activities, and ensure technical areas remain safe, clean, and efficient.
As a Technical Assistant, you’ll play a key part in ensuring our engineering operations run seamlessly. The role is shift-based to support the 24/7 operation of the CFC. You will work the Panama shift pattern to support continuous operations, benefiting from a competitive salary and benefits.
Responsibilities
- Supporting maintenance activities across the site.
- Keeping technical areas safe, clean, and organised to a high standard.
- Resolving minor faults within your training and escalating issues where needed.
- Assisting the engineering team on planned and reactive maintenance tasks.
- Ensuring equipment is cared for, secure, and used safely.
- Completing paperwork accurately and on time
- Collaboration & Communication
- Strong communication is key – you’ll escalate issues promptly and share knowledge with your team to help everyone succeed.

Requirements
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Organised, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- A good problem-solver with a practical approach.
- A clear communicator, able to produce simple reports when needed.
- Flexible in working patterns to meet business needs.
- Self-motivated, consistent, and able to work at pace.
- A real team player who shares knowledge and supports colleagues.
Previous experience in an engineering service support role within an automated production environment would be highly advantageous
