Technical Bid Engineer (AV & Workplace Technology)

Competitive Salary – £50,000–£60,000
I'm working with a growing workplace technology business that's looking to add a Technical Bid Engineer to its pre-sales team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys the technical side of winning projects. Working closely with the Business Development team, you'll help turn customer requirements into professional, accurate, and competitive bid submissions for commercial AV and workplace technology projects.
This role is less about producing CAD drawings every day and more about understanding technical designs, coordinating documentation, and ensuring high-quality submissions.

We're keen to hear from people with experience in areas such as:
- AV or workplace technology projects
- Reviewing and interpreting technical drawings
- Producing Bills of Materials (BoMs)
- Preparing technical quotations, proposals, or tender responses
- AutoCAD, Revit, or similar CAD software
- Working with consultants, architects, and project teams
- Coordinating technical documentation for client submissions
- Supporting pre-sales or bid activities
Experience with Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, Crestron, Extron, Biamp, QSC, or other AV technologies would be beneficial but isn't essential.

This role would suit someone currently working as an AV Design Engineer, Bid Engineer, Technical Coordinator, CAD Engineer, AV Systems Designer, Pre-Sales Engineer, or Technical Support Engineer who's looking to play a key role in securing exciting workplace technology projects.
You'll be joining a collaborative team where your technical expertise and attention to detail will have a direct impact on winning new business.
