1. Purpose of the Role

The Technical Business Analyst (AI Transformation) plays a critical role in shaping, driving, and scaling an organization's Digital, AI, and Automation capabilities. This position is accountable for identifying high-impact opportunities to apply AI across the business (including commercial operations, customer services, product development, and internal business functions), designing AI-first operational processes, and leading the end-to-end design and implementation of AI-enabled solutions.

Acting as a trusted advisor to senior business and technology stakeholders, the role drives new ways of working, embeds operational excellence, reduces manual effort through intelligent automation, and develops internal AI tools that enhance product, finance, and operational teams. The role requires a combination of hands-on technical prototyping skills and strong commercial and analytical capability to translate business strategy into production-ready AI solutions.

2. Key Accountabilities

AI Opportunity & Process Innovation

  • Redesign operational processes using an AI-first approach.
  • Identify and eliminate manual, repetitive, and low-value activities through intelligent automation.
  • Evaluate opportunities based on current technological capabilities rather than legacy practices.

Requirements Analysis & Solution Design

  • Analyse end-to-end business processes to assess the impact of AI-enabled transformation.
  • Produce functional specifications, user journeys, business scenarios, and acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborate with AI engineers, data specialists, and technical teams to design scalable, secure, and effective AI solutions.

Adoption & Implementation

  • Act as the primary business partner supporting the transition from strategy through to production deployment.
  • Identify and remove barriers to AI adoption, including process, capability, data, and organisational readiness.
  • Package successful AI use cases for replication across multiple business areas.
  • Monitor stakeholder progress against agreed implementation milestones.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
