We're working with a Belfast-based data and AI consultancy who are growing and delivering some genuinely interesting projects across financial services. They're looking for a Technical Business Analyst to join them on a client-facing project focused on modernising data platforms - specifically migrating from legacy systems into more scalable, cloud-based environments. This is a great opportunity to work closely with both business stakeholders and engineering teams, playing a key role in delivering data-driven solutions.

🚀 The Role
- Work directly with clients to gather and define requirements
- Act as the bridge between stakeholders and technical teams
- Translate business needs into clear user stories and technical specs
- Support delivery across the full project lifecycle
- Work on data-focused projects including platform migrations
- Collaborate in Agile teams using tools like Jira and Confluence
🧠 What They're Looking For
- Experience as a Business Analyst in data or analytics projects
- Strong SQL skills for data analysis and validation
- Comfortable working in a client-facing environment
- Experience translating business requirements into technical outputs
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments

➕ Nice to Have
- Exposure to modern data platforms (e.g. Databricks, Snowflake, Hadoop)
- Experience in financial services or regulated environments
- Background in a consultancy or technical environment

- Hybrid role with some client-site interaction
- Salary between £60-70k
- Fast-moving project - you'll need to be available within 4 weeks
