Technical Business Analyst - Digital Transformation - Azure - AWS - System Integration - Jira
6 Month contract
£475 per day Inside IR3
Hybrid Working - Leeds/Bradford - 2 days per week
We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst to join the Digital Engineering Team. You will work closely with Product Owners, Solution Architects, Software Engineers, Operations teams and Project Managers to define, analyse and deliver technology solutions that support customer and internal digital transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Elicit, analyse and document business, functional and technical requirements.
- Translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria and technical specifications.
- Collaborate closely with Solution Architects, Developers, Engineers and QA teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Facilitate workshops with business and technical stakeholders.
- Support solution design by documenting system interactions, integrations and data flows.
- Produce process maps, business workflows and data mapping documentation.
- Ensure requirements remain traceable from design through testing and implementation.
- Support Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst within Digital Engineering or Software Delivery environments.
- Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies.
- Experience working alongside Software Engineers, Solution Architects and Technical Delivery teams.
- Knowledge of APIs, system integrations and cloud-based platforms.
- Strong experience with Jira, Confluence and requirements management tools.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business language.

Desirable Skills
- Telecommunications or Media industry experience.
- Exposure to AWS, Azure or GCP environments.
- Experience with AI, automation or data-driven solutions.
- Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
