Technical Business Analyst
The role is NEW PERMANENT due to continued business growth.
About the Role
Our client is expanding its product/BA/Functional team by recruiting a bright, capable, client-facing, technical Business Analyst (or Solutions Designer) for a home-based position with occasional office visits.
Candidates are required to translate client requirements into clear, usable and implementable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Gathering and analysing requirements
- Creating functional specifications for web applications, databases (SQL and beyond), APIs, FIX and RESTful services
- Designing user flows and user journeys
- Collaborating with global clients, product teams, Business Analysts and development teams to deliver successful change

Key Experience Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in business analysis, with technical exposure (programming skills, APIs, RESTful, FIX preferred).
- Strong financial services/software/trading/commodities experience—knowledge of exchanges and ITC a huge plus.
- Ability to present and showcase user flows and user journeys.
- Proven written and verbal communication skills.

Location
- Primarily home-based (UK conflict-free locations).
- Occasional trips to London offices—but not weekly or monthly.
Employment Terms
- Permanent role only (no visa support or transfer).
Candidate Criteria
- Must be UK-based with at least 5 years UK work experience (due to financial checks).
