At Acturis, innovation is not just part of our culture - it is in our DNA.

Our journey began in 2000 in the garden shed of our co founder, Theo Duchen, who - together with fellow former McKinsey partner David McDonald - set out to reinvent insurance technology. From those start up beginnings, Acturis has grown into a global SaaS leader transforming the insurance industry.

Today, over 100,000 users in 40+ countries rely on our platform to run and grow their businesses. By partnering closely with brokers, insurers and MGAs, we continue to shape modern insurance across both personal and commercial lines.

Recognised as a Great Place to Work® 2026, Acturis combines the agility and innovation of a start up with the scale and stability of an industry leader. You will join a team where expertise is valued, ideas move fast, and talented people make a real impact from day one. And as an EcoVadis Committed rated organisation, we focus on creating long term value by operating in a sustainable and responsible way.

Day to day you will:

  • Work directly with insurers and brokers to design and build insurance products within the Acturis platform, translating requirements into structured system solutions
  • Configure product logic including rating models, underwriting rules, data capture journeys and policy outputs, taking ownership of delivery from build through to testing and launch
  • Analyse, troubleshoot and enhance live products, supporting the full policy lifecycle and advising clients on best practice and system capabilities

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
