Technical Business Analyst – SC Clearance

Up to £75,000 + Benefits

This is a fantastic Technical Business Analyst (BA) opportunity to work with a UK-based technology services organisation, to support legacy system migration and process improvement for a critical IT transformation programme.

About the Role

The Technical Business Analyst is a remote working role, based in the UK. Travel to customer sites and team meetings is expected, as necessary.

Candidates must hold current UK SC Clearance, or be eligible and willing to undergo the SC clearance process.

Responsibilities

As a Technical Business Analyst, you will support critical customer environments by gathering and analysing requirements, mapping high-level business processes, and translating legacy system functionality into actionable documentation for migration and technical remediation. The Technical BA will work closely with stakeholders to validate requirements, support solution selection, and ensure alignment with business needs, security standards, and strategic technology platforms. As Technical BA, you will collaborate with Architects, Engineers, and Programme Leads to prioritise migration backlogs, define functional specifications, and produce artefacts that underpin secure technical design, cyber assurance, testing, and service transition. To succeed as a Technical BA, you will need experience in enterprise business analysis, legacy application assessment (including Notes), process mapping, stakeholder engagement, and supporting IT transformation or migration initiatives, with strong communication and consultative skills essential.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
