Technical Business Analyst (SaaS) - London
Technical Business Analyst (Insurance Technology)
Location: Hybrid – London Salary: £35,000–£55,000
We are looking for an experienced Technical Business Analyst to partner with a SaaS provider in the insurance space. Join a growing team delivering tailored software solutions to clients while combining analysis, stakeholder engagement, and hands-on delivery.
This role is ideal for someone with 2+ years’ experience in:
- Client-facing Business Analysis
- Technical BA roles
- Implementation-focused consultancy
The Technical Business Analyst will:
- Collaborate closely with customers
- Gather, clarify, and document requirements
- Define solutions and oversee configuration & implementation
- Bridge the gap between business needs and technical delivery
Key Responsibilities
- Requirements management
- Gather, clarify, and document client requirements
- Conduct as-is / to-be analysis and process mapping

Solution delivery
- Translate business needs into clear functional solutions & configuration changes
- Manage implementations through completion, ensuring alignment with specifications

Stakeholder & project support
- Work closely with internal teams to coordinate delivery and resolve issues
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the trusted point of contact

Problem-solving & escalation
- Support complex scenario resolution in client engagements
- Escalate issues as needed to drive projects forward

Customer experience advocacy
- Contribute to high-quality delivery via structured, solution-focused approaches
Requirements
We seek candidates with a strong background in:
- 2+ years’ experience as a Technical BA, Business Analyst, or similar analyst role
- Client or customer-facing communication skills
- A structured, logical approach to problem-solving
- Ability to manage work through a delivery lifecycle
- Experience negotiating priorities across diverse stakeholders

Ideal qualities: ✔ Experience working in SaaS, consulting, or client-facing roles ✔ Track record of seeing projects through to completion ✔ Strong organisational & analytical skills
Preferred (but not essential):
- Background in insurance technology or digital transformation
