About the company
Our client is a specialist investment analytics firm with a proprietary dataset built over more than two decades. Its clients include pension funds, sovereign wealth funds and leading asset managers globally. The firm is now evolving from consultancy delivery to a technology platform, with new tools launching in the coming months that put its analytics directly into users' hands. It is a growing, founder led team, so you will have real visibility, real flexibility and a direct line to the people running the business.
The role
Adoption is the whole job to begin with. At each client firm a small group of sponsors are already deeply bought into the platform. Behind them sit hundreds of colleagues who could have access but are not yet using it. Across a global institutional client base, that is a very large untapped audience, and winning it over is what will make the platform transition succeed.
The initial period is about getting to know the product and the business. You will spend your time understanding who the key decision makers are across the current client list, working closely with the team, then getting deep into each client to help them maximise their usage: demonstrating value to the converted, identifying the influencers who bring their colleagues with them, and building a repeatable engagement process around them.
That is the starting point, not the ceiling. As adoption is proven across the client base, the role has real scope to evolve into onboarding new business, taking the playbook you have built with clients out to prospects. This evolution is a key part of how the role is expected to grow, and you would be at the front of it.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
As Technical Business Director you will own the adoption strategy end to end, from prioritising clients through to reporting results to the founder, and the role can grow into leading the function as it scales.
What you'll do day to day
- Get to know the product inside out and learn the business deeply, so you can connect what the analytics show to the decisions users actually make
- Map and build relationships with the key decision makers across the current client list, working closely with the team
- Run demos, workshops, presentations and online sessions showing users what the platform can do and how to get the most from it
- Monitor usage and engagement data and act on it: onboard new users, re-engage dormant ones, celebrate the active ones
- Work with client IT teams to make sure the technology is properly implemented and rolled out at each firm
- Create the material that drives usage: success stories and insight pieces that give users a reason to come back
- Design the client by client adoption roadmap: which firms first, which influencers to win over, and what the engagement process looks like at each stage
- Report adoption progress to the leadership team and, as the role evolves, take the platform to new business
How success is measured
- The percentage of addressable users actively using the platform
- Adoption at the individual level and, more importantly, at the client level
- Depth of engagement, firm by firm

About you
- 3+ years relevant experience helping a SaaS or technology business with user onboarding, user adoption, customer success or user acquisition
- Enough technical fluency to talk credibly with IT teams about rollout, integration and access, and to understand how a platform fits into a client's stack
- A confident communicator and presenter, comfortable in front of senior, analytical audiences such as fund managers and CIOs
- Able to design and own an engagement playbook, not just deliver one: you decide who to target, in what order, and how
- Curious about investment and financial markets (direct experience is a bonus, not a requirement)
- Based in or around Croydon, or happy with the commute
Location and working pattern
- Office in central Croydon, right by Boxpark and its amenities, 15 minutes from London Bridge and 20 minutes from Victoria
- In office role with core days midweek and hybrid flexibility
- Option to move to a 4 day week (salary pro rata) if that suits you
- Start as soon as possible
Why this role
You would take a genuinely differentiated product, backed by decades of data no one else has, and put it in front of an audience that is ready for it. A growing team, a big mandate, founder access, and a clear scoreboard, with a route into new business development as adoption lands. If adoption goes up, that is you.
