Technical Co-Founder, CTO

We are seeking an exceptional Europe-based Technical Co-Founder/CTO for an early-stage B2B AI engineering software venture. The project lies at the intersection of:

  • Enterprise data infrastructure
  • Applied AI
  • Knowledge systems
  • Computational Aerospace Engineering (CAE)

The immediate focus is hands-on: you will build the MVP end-to-end, owning architecture, coding, deployment, and technical delivery before growing the engineering team.


Profile Requirements

We are looking for someone with strong experience across several key areas:

Applied AI Systems

  • Production-grade LLM applications
  • Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
  • Agentic workflows
  • Semantic search
  • Embeddings
  • Evaluation techniques
  • Source-grounded outputs

Knowledge & Data Modelling

  • Knowledge graphs
  • Metadata models
  • Ontologies
  • Entity resolution
  • Lineage tracking
  • Relationship-based knowledge retrieval

Zero-to-One Execution

Must demonstrate experience in:

  • Building and shipping a full-fledged product/platform from scratch (not prototypes or research projects).
  • Taking hands-on ownership of architecture, coding, and deployment.

Key Soft Skills

  • Comfortable leading technical delivery during early-stage development.
  • Ability to make pragmatic build vs. buy decisions.
  • Experience in recruiting and growing technical teams.

Preferred but Not Essential

Experience with:

  • High-Performance Computing (HPC)
  • CAE, CAD, or physics engineering
  • Simulation/analysis data
  • Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems
  • Industrial workflow automation

What matters more: Tangible evidence of building and shipping complex systems across the lines above.
