Moorland Recruitment are working with a well-established food manufacturing business in Liverpool who are looking to add a Technical Compliance Manager to their technical team.
This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who enjoys the systems, standards and compliance side of technical, rather than being purely factory-floor focused.
The business operates in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment, supplying major customers and working to strict quality, food safety and compliance standards.
The Role
As Technical Compliance Manager, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and improving site technical systems, ensuring the business remains audit-ready and fully compliant with customer, legal and food safety requirements.

You’ll be involved in:
- Managing and maintaining the site’s technical management systems
- Ensuring compliance with BRCGS, customer codes of practice and retailer standards
- Supporting internal and external audits
- Managing document control, specifications, supplier approval and traceability systems
- Driving improvements across quality, food safety and compliance processes
- Supporting HACCP, TACCP/VACCP and risk assessment processes
- Working closely with technical, operations, NPD and supply chain teams
- Investigating non-conformances and ensuring corrective actions are completed

About You:
We’re keen to speak with candidates who have experience within food manufacturing, ideally in a technical systems, compliance, QA management or auditing-focused role.
You’ll likely have:
- Strong knowledge of BRCGS and food safety standards
- Experience managing technical systems and compliance processes
- Good understanding of HACCP and audit requirements
- Excellent attention to detail and organisation skills
- Confidence working cross-functionally with internal teams
- A proactive approach to improving systems and standards
