High-growth Insurance Start-up | Technical Configurations Analyst | Remote | up to £50K DOE + bonus
As we expand our footprint, we are looking for an Technical Configurations Analyst to join our growing Technical Delivery team and keep us at the leading edge of the market. This role is central to supporting our technology platforms to meet the evolving needs of our business and clients as we look to continue our rapid growth in 2026.

Role Purpose
In this role, you will be the bridge between business requirements and technical execution. You will support the configuration, administration, and continuous optimisation of our key technology platforms, including SaaS applications, no-code/low-code solutions, and the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
Your goal is to enhance act as a critical node in our system, supporting across the entire IT suite, as well as looking at smart workflow design, and proactive system management. You'll be given direct support from our Technical team and senior team from Day 1, and be pushed to find your own niche within our team and systems. We value creative, driven individuals who aren't afraid of responsibility and asking questions.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the technical team with third-party no-code/low-code platforms, managing settings, permissions, roles, and environments.
- Manage upgrades, releases, and vendor-driven enhancements in a controlled, auditable manner.
- Get involved in the day-to-day configuration and support work.
- Build and maintain Power Automate flows and SharePoint libraries to deliver lightweight, high-impact digital solutions.
- General IT duties such as infrastructure support, ticket handling, Microsoft administration, and similar tasks.
- Ensure access control and compliance standards are met across the M365 estate.
- Investigate and resolve system defects and configuration conflicts, escalating to vendors where necessary.
- Use basic scripting (PowerShell, JavaScript, JSON, or SQL) to extend platform functionality.
- Identify opportunities to replace manual tasks with automated workflows.
- Keep rigorous records of system changes to support risk assessments and internal controls.

Skills & Competencies
- A good understanding of technical SaaS platforms and no-code/low-code automation tools.
- Basic familiarity with Microsoft 365 administration and the Power Platform.
- Basic capability in PowerShell, JavaScript, JSON, or similar languages.
- Good ability to translate business needs into technical specifications and learn to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Understanding of information security principles and financial services regulations (FCA/PRA).
Qualifications & Experience
- Some experience in IT configuration, application support, or digital systems administration.
- Experience in Insurance or other Financial Services is highly desirable but not essential.
- Comfortable working in both Agile and Waterfall project environments.
- Basic proficiency with Jira and Confluence is preferred.
- Microsoft, ITIL, or Agile certifications are a plus.
Compensation and benefits
- Base salary of up to £50K DOE + bonus
- Fully remote role with the option of office space in both London and Bristol
