Technical Consultant – SS&C Intralinks

About the Role: Technical Consultant

SS&C Intralinks is a global leader in inter-enterprise content management and collaboration solutions, enabling secure, compliant information exchange across organizational firewalls. As a Technical Consultant, you’ll play a pivotal role in executing complex Intralinks deployments while collaborating across Sales, Support, Product Management, Development, QE, Operations, and Global Customer Success (GCSO) teams.


Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Leadership: Guide clients through Intralinks solution implementation in dynamic, high-growth environments, ensuring seamless execution across API-driven, multi-technology integrations.
  • Customer Success: Drive positive client experiences—from point-of-contact to delivery—ensuring technical excellence at every stage.
  • Technical Delivery:
    • Gather requirements, define best-fit solutions, scope contracts (SOWs), and manage end-to-end project timelines.
    • Deliver custom solutions from concept to deployment.
    • Design, develop, test, and document implementations, ensuring clarity, scalability, and compliance with corporate standards.
    • Present technical strategies and solutions with influence and impact.
  • Advanced Data Work: Build, optimize, and maintain complex reports using Oracle PL/SQL, Redshift, or PostgreSQL.
  • Troubleshooting & Automation:
    • Diagnose system and integration issues, and propose solutions, workarounds, and proactive improvements.
    • Enhance solution performance, reliability, and traceability for future scalability.
    • Automate workflows via REST APIs, Python, C#, or RPA (tools like Blue Prism).
  • Operational Excellence:
    • Manage support delivery processes—request tracking, scheduling, and documentation.
    • Participate in on-call support rotations.

Requirements & Eligibility

Essential Skills & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or relevant field.
  • Experience: Prefer 3–5 year IT experience with certifications or alternatives like 7+ years of experience without credentialing.
  • Technical Proficiencies:
    • Hands-on experience with SQL querying (Oracle, Redshift).
    • Advanced knowledge of REST APIs (RESTful design, JSON, POST/CURL commands, API testing via Postman).
  • Problem-Solving & Stakeholder Management:
    • Proficient in diagnosing technical challenges while aligning with customer business goals.
    • Strong customer service orientation—able to advise customers across complex environments.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Actively contribute to IT operations and project teams.
  • Communication & Collaboration:
    • Clear written skills for documentation, reports, and cross-level (peer-to-executive) verbal communication.
    • Strong presentation abilities to articulate technical concepts.
  • Critical Thinking & Adaptability:
    • Quick learner with demonstrated capability for complex troubleshooting and innovation.
    • Multitasking under pressure to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Support: Web-application and response management experience.
  • Operations: Hands-on Project Management (including requirements buy-off).
  • Automation: Scripting (Python) and Robotic Process Automation (RPA, e.g., Blue Prism).
  • Cloud: Experience with AWS/Azure multi-cloud environments.
  • Monitoring: Design/deploy logging/platform analytics solutions (e.g., ELK, Splunk, Dynatrace).
  • Process: Familiarity with Agile/DevOps methodologies.
