Job overview
Technical Consultant - with a strong focus on integrations, including both pre-packaged out-of-the-box integrations and REST APIs, to support international projects within our Professional Services team. You will play a key role in implementing our spend management suite by deploying and configuring integrations with customer ERPs and guiding clients on best-practice usage of APIs and system integrations. The role involves some customer facing elements where necessary and will also encompass ancillary technical tasks including production of technical documentation, connections to client security controls including Entra ID, and ad-hoc requests for data exports and imports via internal applications & tools.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Act as the technical expert within the Professional Services delivery team, working closely with Project Managers and Functional Consultants.
- Deploy and configure Medius standard integrations with customer ERP systems.
- Guide and support customers in the use of Medius REST APIs and system-to-system integrations.
- Support internal and customer integration testing.
- Configure Medius SaaS applications and support best-practice configuration around integration and data handling.
- Implement integration EDI connections to e-invoicing solutions using standard APIs.
- Provide documented setup and configuration for handover to the support team.
- Collaborate with technical peers across Professional Services, Cloud Operations, and R&D teams.
- Prepare technical specifications and mapping documents with customers IT & finance teams.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of cloud-based software integrations and REST APIs.
- Previous experience in IT system implementations, preferably cloud-based/SaaS environments.
- Knowledge of financial or other accounting based systems.
- Structured working approach.
- Strong communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple parallel tasks with quality and control.

Preferred
- Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics (AX / F&O, NAV / Business Central), or Infor M3.
- Experience working in Professional Services or consulting environments.
- Experience with Power BI and other reporting tools.
- Background in Spend Management or Source-to-Pay / Purchase-to-Pay solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.

Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors, including but not limited to relevant skills, experience, qualifications, certifications, internal equity, and the geographic location in which the role is performed. Compensation may vary for roles performed in different locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for variable compensation (such as a performance bonus or commission), benefits, and/or participation in other incentive or benefit plans, in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans. Benefits may include medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, and retirement benefits, subject to eligibility requirements.
