We are a fast-growing Digital Transformation consultancy working primarily for the UK Public Sector and Critical National Infrastructure organisations. Our teams deliver technology-focused consultancy in a variety of complex environments. Our work covers a broad range of topics including architecture development, cyber security, programme and project management through to data engineering/analytics and AI. We have a long track record of delivery and are trusted to work on some of the UK Government’s most important and sensitive projects.
Roles And Responsibilities
Collaborate with clients to develop strategies for future ICT service delivery, aligning with Government strategies. Define end-to-end architectures, including Business, Applications, Data, and Infrastructure. Create comprehensive User and Service Requirements Documentation. Deliver key Concept and Assessment Phase products. Support large ICT procurements by developing procurement documentation, evaluation strategies, and assessing bids. Provide technical assurance to ensure proposed solutions are fit for purpose.
Skills, Knowledge And Expertise
Experience within the UK Defence and Public Sectors, particularly in ICT enterprise solutions, is desirable.

Proficiency in Enterprise and Technical Architecture development, business or systems analysis, software development methodologies, and information security standards. Familiarity with Programme and Project Management methods and public sector best practices. Ability to quickly adapt to new challenges and apply a structured approach to unfamiliar subject matter. Experience in the UK Defence and Public Sectors, especially within ICT contexts on enterprise solutions, is highly desirable.
Additional Requirements:

Working Arrangements
Hybrid working model, with an office base in Guildford, Surrey and access to our other offices in London, Swindon and Cheltenham. Typical working week might involve 2-3 days working at clients’ premises or other locations and the remainder at home or at one of our offices. Some projects may require up to 5 days per week on-site with colleagues. The practicalities of some project work means that individuals may need to stay away from home during the working week Team-based project environment with opportunities to participate in internal initiatives.

Career Development
A Mentor will be on hand to provide support and guidance throughout your journey with Actica. You will also work with a Performance and Development Manager, often outside of your project line of control, who will conduct regular reviews based on project feedback to set career objectives and identify training courses which are both relevant to your current project work, and aligned with your planned career progression.
