The Technical Coordination Manager provides senior-level oversight and leadership across the Technical Coordination department, which is responsible for planning event equipment logistics, reservations, internal transfers, support, and subrentals.

The role carries accountability for driving process improvements, mentoring junior coordinators, and serving as the primary point of escalation for complex inventory, logistical, and scheduling challenges across regional and global operations.

The role requires a strong industry knowledge across audio, video, lighting & rigging disciplines combined with the leadership capability to ensure that equipment workflows are executed efficiently, accurately and in alignment with project timelines and business objectives.

Why Solotech?

As a global leader in live productions, systems integration and virtual technology, our team is comprised of more than 2,000 passionate individuals. Our ambition? To deliver spectacular experiences worldwide.

Your day will look like:

  • Lead and oversee the Technical Coordination team's day-to-day output, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to deadlines across all active projects.
  • Direct the planning and execution of equipment logistics for transfers based on site/regional availability across the inventory system.
  • Analyse and interpret inventory data via R2 and PowerBI to inform operational decisions and identify capacity risks ahead of project deadlines.
  • Serve as the senior liaison between Technical Coordination and account representatives, project managers, and department directors on all equipment availability matters.
  • Oversee the full subrental lifecycle — from identifying requirements and evaluating vendor quotes through to purchase order generation and timely equipment return.
  • Collaborate with global coordination and warehouse teams to ensure inventory movement meets project deadlines, escalating and resolving blockers as required.
  • Maintain oversight of active orders to ensure reservation and return dates are accurate, directing the team to resolve discrepancies proactively.
  • Act as the escalation point for damaged equipment situations, working alongside project management to develop and implement resolution plans.
  • Drive continuous improvement across coordination workflows, systems usage, and team capability, identifying and implementing process efficiencies.
  • Champion quality standards, policy adherence, and the promotion of company values.
  • Any other reasonable ad-hoc requests as required by your manager.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
