Technical Coordinator

Location: On-site, Boston, Lincolnshire

Ready to take the next step in your technical career?

We're looking for an ambitious Technical Coordinator to join our growing technical team at Pilgrim Foodservice.

This is more than a traditional technical role. You'll work directly alongside the Technical Manager, playing a key part in leading food safety, driving continuous improvement and maintaining the high standards expected, working closely with our operations, manufacturing and procurement teams. You'll also deputise for the Technical Manager when required, giving you genuine exposure to leadership and decision-making.

About the Role

As Technical Coordinator, you'll support the management of our Quality Management System whilst helping ensure compliance with BRCGS Storage & Distribution, SALSA and relevant food legislation.

This is primarily an office-based role where you'll work closely with our Operations, Manufacturing and Procurement teams to coordinate and support the technical function across the business. The role involves analysing technical data, monitoring trends, maintaining compliance systems, investigating issues and building strong working relationships across departments. Strong communication skills are essential, as you'll provide technical guidance, influence best practice and help embed a positive food safety culture throughout the business. Regular travel to our cross-docking depots will also be required to carry out audits and support compliance activities, including occasional overnight stays.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

You take pride in keeping the business audit-ready while using data and insight to make informed decisions.

Ideally You Will Have:
