If you are passionate about building complex technology solutions and leading engineering teams through large-scale transformation, this could be your next leadership opportunity.

Ingenio is working with a leading global digital engineering consultancy to hire a Technical Delivery Director responsible for driving the successful delivery of bespoke, custom-built software solutions for enterprise customers.

This role sits at the intersection of engineering leadership, architecture, client advisory, and digital transformation. You will work with organisations to modernise platforms, adopt cloud technologies, and deliver innovative software solutions — built from the ground up, not off-the-shelf implementations.

The Role

  • Own delivery across complex enterprise software engineering programmes
  • Define technical approaches, architectures, and delivery strategies
  • Lead engineering teams delivering scalable, secure, and high-performing custom solutions
  • Facilitate discovery workshops and collaborate with clients on technical direction
  • Support solution development, proposals, and technical pre-sales engagements
  • Drive adoption of cloud-native technologies, automation, and AI-enabled engineering practices

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

  • Track record leading large-scale software engineering programmes for external clients

  • C-level stakeholder engagement
  • Engineering team leadership
  • Experience supporting pre-sales activities, technical proposals, solution workshops, and client growth initiatives
