Are you a qualified electrician looking for the next step in your career? If you're ready to move away from the physical demands of site work but still want to put your technical expertise to good use, this could be the perfect opportunity.
We're looking for a Technical Design & Survey Engineer to join Greenio, part of the TLS Energy Group. You'll use your electrical knowledge to design bespoke renewable energy systems, carry out customer site surveys, and support the delivery of high-quality Solar PV installations - helping customers transition to cleaner, smarter energy.
What you'll be doing:
- β‘ Conducting customer site surveys and technical assessments
- βοΈ Designing Solar PV systems using OpenSolar (or similar software)
- π Producing accurate quotations for residential and commercial projects
- π Specifying Solar PV, battery storage, EV chargers, and associated equipment
- π Providing technical support to customers, suppliers, and installation teams
- β Ensuring designs comply with current electrical standards, MCS requirements, and DNO regulations

What we're looking for:
- β Qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
- β Strong electrical installation knowledge and technical understanding
- β Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- β High attention to detail and a customer-focused approach
- β Confident using IT systems and keen to learn specialist design software
