Technical Designer

Technical Designer – Full-Time Permanent Position

Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Technical Designer to join a leading distribution company based on the outskirts of Basingstoke.

Responsibilities as a Technical Designer

  • Produce accurate 2D CAD Drawings for wet room layouts
  • Create clear and professional drawing packages for customer approval
  • Utilise AutoCAD and AutoDesk Design Review
  • Prepare project-specific technical submissions
  • Act as the technical point of contact for customers and contractors
  • Attend and contribute to project meetings
  • Assist with project estimating during quieter periods

Requirements

  • Proficiency in 2D CAD Software
  • Experience using Autodesk Design Review
  • Strong understanding of bathroom construction
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
  • Ability to interpret architectural drawings and technical specifications

The Role

  • Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Starting Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 per annum
  • Commission scheme: Up to 5%
  • Contract Type: Full-time, permanent position
  • Location: Outskirts of Basingstoke
  • Annual Leave: 25 days plus 8 bank holidays
  • Perks: Company-wide bonus scheme
