Technical Designer
Technical Designer – Full-Time Permanent Position
Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Technical Designer to join a leading distribution company based on the outskirts of Basingstoke.
Responsibilities as a Technical Designer
- Produce accurate 2D CAD Drawings for wet room layouts
- Create clear and professional drawing packages for customer approval
- Utilise AutoCAD and AutoDesk Design Review
- Prepare project-specific technical submissions
- Act as the technical point of contact for customers and contractors
- Attend and contribute to project meetings
- Assist with project estimating during quieter periods

Requirements
- Proficiency in 2D CAD Software
- Experience using Autodesk Design Review
- Strong understanding of bathroom construction
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
- Ability to interpret architectural drawings and technical specifications
The Role
- Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Starting Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 per annum
- Commission scheme: Up to 5%
- Contract Type: Full-time, permanent position
- Location: Outskirts of Basingstoke
- Annual Leave: 25 days plus 8 bank holidays
- Perks: Company-wide bonus scheme
