About the Role

We are partnering with a mid-size design and build company specialising in innovative and creative commercial and retrofit projects, looking for a personable and experienced Technical Designer to join their team.

Based in their vibrant London office, you will play a key role in later-stage project delivery, translating creative concepts into detailed and executable plans. Your technical expertise will ensure designs are visually stunning yet functional and feasible, while also engaging with clients to pitch ideas and refine visions to the highest standards.

The ideal candidate has experience in London-based commercial and retrofit projects, delivering end-to-end project execution—from concept through to competition—with a meticulous attention to detail. This is an opportunity for a passionate technical designer seeking a social, adaptable workspace in a fast-growing practice with a full benefits package and lively social calendar.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
