About The Job
The Company
Our client, Yamazaki Mazak is a leading global manufacturing company based in Worcester.
This is an excellent opportunity to work for a market leading Machine Tool manufacturer who have been at the forefront of the industry for many years.
A position has arisen within the Service Department for a Technical Desk Spares Engineer.
Jonathan Lee Workforce Solutions are the preferred supplier to Mazak.
Job Description
The Role
Role
The role will require the successful applicant to be able to carry out the following, as part of the Spares Team on a daily basis:
- Assist engineers to find part numbers from machine manuals
- Assist engineers to identify spindles for all machines
- Raise PIDBs to all Mazak factories to assist with parts Delivery Information
- Raise quotations for customers
- Raise orders from customer order confirmation
- Liaise with suppliers for delivery information and availability of parts

The Person
Essential Criteria
- Ability to problem solve and think outside the box
- Team player who can work to deadlines
- Ability to work under pressure but maintain very high standards of work
- Have a positive attitude and be able to work under own initiative when required
- Good knowledge of Mazak products
- Computer literate
Desirable Criteria
- Experience / ability to use various computer systems
