Technical Director – Renewables & Energy Infrastructure

We are looking for an experienced Programme Delivery Manager to oversee the final stages of development and the full delivery lifecycle of renewable energy projects. This role is ideal for a hands-on delivery professional with a strong track record taking projects from late-stage development through construction to commercial operation.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing the last-mile development, design, construction, and operational readiness of renewable energy assets. Working within a developer, IPP, or fund-backed platform environment, you will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and on budget through to COD and into operations.

Essential:

  • Deep experience delivering utility scale BESS, solar and or wind projects
  • Strong capability across grid, planning, EPC management and construction oversight
  • Able to lead technical due diligence and interface with EPCs, OEMs and external advisers
  • Proven track record of taking projects from RTB through construction and into operations

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
