Climate17 is supporting a well-backed renewable energy business with the appointment of a Technical Director to join its senior leadership team.
This is a strategic leadership role offering responsibility across the full lifecycle of utility-scale solar PV and battery energy storage projects, from development and acquisitions through to construction, operations, optimisation, and asset sales.
The successful candidate will provide technical leadership across a growing portfolio of renewable energy assets, supporting investment decisions, project delivery, technical due diligence, and long-term asset performance.

Key areas of responsibility include:
Leading technical due diligence for acquisitions and project financing Shaping engineering standards, technology selection, and project delivery strategy Overseeing EPC contractors, technical advisors, and project delivery partners Providing technical leadership across a growing portfolio of solar PV and BESS assets Supporting investment decisions by translating technical risks into commercial insights Building and developing a high-performing technical team Representing the business with investors, lenders, suppliers, and industry stakeholders
