Delivering these services relies on an enthusiastic, customer-focused team, and they're now looking for a Technical & Energy Manager to join their team and help make a positive difference every day.
As Technical And Energy Manager, you'll play a vital role in ensuring leisure facilities remain safe, compliant, efficient and welcoming for the communities they serve. By leading maintenance, technical compliance and energy management activities across multiple sites, you'll help create environments where people can stay active, improve their wellbeing and enjoy high-quality leisure experiences. Your work has purpose, supporting sustainability goals, operational excellence and a positive impact on communities both now and in the future.
What you’ll do as a Technical & Energy Manager
- Lead and develop technical and grounds teams, providing clear direction, support and leadership across multiple leisure facilities.
- Ensure all building services, systems and equipment remain fully compliant with statutory requirements, industry standards and contractual obligations.
- Manage planned preventative maintenance programmes, reactive maintenance activities and minor works projects to maintain safe and efficient operations.
- Monitor, analyse and manage energy consumption, identifying opportunities for innovation, efficiency improvements and cost savings.
- Oversee technical budgets, maintenance expenditure and capital projects, ensuring effective planning and value for money.
- Work closely with colleagues, contractors, clients and regulatory bodies to create impactful solutions that support long-term facility performance.

Does this sound like you?
- Significant experience in a technical management, facilities management or building services leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation, compliance requirements and building services systems, including electrical and mechanical infrastructure.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with experience of managing energy performance and maintenance programmes.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop teams while building positive working relationships with a range of stakeholders.
- Relevant technical qualifications in electrical, mechanical or building services disciplines, with a commitment to ongoing professional growth.

Vetting and checks
A Standard DBS check will be carried out for this position. This includes spent and unspent convictions, cautions, reprimands, and warnings as permitted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act. An Occupational Health Questionnaire will also be completed so we can ensure you have the necessary support to perform your duties.
