Technical Engineer (Professional Services) – 6 Month Fixed-Term Contract
About Person Centred Software
At Person Centred Software, we build technology that genuinely improves lives. Our platforms are used by care providers across the UK and internationally, helping teams deliver safer, more efficient, and more person-centred care. We’re growing quickly with strong momentum in a sector where reliable technology and smooth customer onboarding are critical.
The Role
We’re looking for two Technical Engineers to join our Professional Services team on a 6-month fixed-term contract.
This role focuses on supporting data migration and transfer projects for customers moving onto our platform or expanding their use post-acquisitions or system changes. You’ll work closely with internal teams to run migration tools, test data transfers, resolve issues, and ensure seamless project delivery—from testing to live deployment.
Perfect for someone early in their career who wants:
- Hands-on experience with data, systems, and software tools in a production environment
- A chance to work with graduates, career changers, or those with strong technical foundations
Key Responsibilities
- Design & Execution:
- Run and monitor data migration processes using internal tools
- Execute test and live data transfers within project timelines
- Work with SQL and .NET-based tools to support migration activities

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
