At Globant, we are working to make the world a better place, one step at a time. We enhance business development and enterprise solutions to prepare them for a digital future. With a diverse and talented team present in more than 30 countries, we are strategic partners to leading global companies in their business process transformation.
We seek a Technical Evangelist (VP), who shares our passion for innovation and change. This role is critical to helping our business partners evolve and adapt to consumers' personalized expectations in this new technological era.
About the Role
The Technical Evangelist is the bridge between the engine room and the boardroom – the person who ensures that what gets built, fixed, and protected by the programme's squads is seen, understood, and valued at the level where decisions about the platform's future are actually made. The TE sits in regular conversation with the CTO, the Directors of Tech Delivery, and the Principal Architect, not as a status reporter but as a peer defending architectural integrity and the technology platform as a long-term asset.
What will help you succeed:
- Extensive experience in large-scale technology delivery, with at least 3-4 years at architecture or principal-engineer level in complex, multi-vendor or multi-stakeholder environments.
- Proven experience straddling hands-on technical depth (can hold their own with a Principal Architect) and executive-facing communication (can hold the room with a CTO).
- Background in legacy-to-modern transformation programmes – ideally inside large, slow-moving corporates (airline, banking, insurance, telco) where technical change has to be sold internally, not just engineered.
- Exposure to vendor / multi-supplier delivery models, understanding how technical credibility is won or lost when multiple providers compete for the same client's trust.
- Deep, current knowledge of modern architecture patterns (microservices, domain-driven design, cloud-native platforms – AWS/Azure/GCP), enough to evaluate and challenge technology choices, not just describe them.
- Working fluency in the airline/travel-tech domain is a strong plus, not a hard requirement – but genuine appetite to learn it fast is non-negotiable.
- Track record of technical writing and narrative-building for non-technical or semi-technical executive audiences (architecture decision records translated into business-value language).
- Experience running structured stakeholder cadences (steering committees, architecture review boards, tech governance forums).

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
