Your Role
Working in the CUK Academy Team, the Technical Instructor (Mid-Level) independently delivers technical training for internal and external stakeholders, specialising in Service Engineering for agricultural machinery. You’ll combine solid technical expertise with teaching prowess to ensure high-quality learning outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Training Course Development
- Plan and design technical training courses for agricultural machinery and related technologies (both in-person and virtual).
- Develop and refine training materials, ensuring alignment with current products, processes, and industry standards.
- Collaborate on global academy projects and continuous program improvements through feedback and trend analysis.

Training Course Delivery
- Deliver training sessions with a clear, engaging, and safe learning environment.
- Assess delegate progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt teaching methods to improve outcomes.
- Maintain safety standards and prioritise delegate welfare and safeguarding.
- Promote equal opportunities, diversity, and inclusion to ensure an accessible learning experience.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Create rapport with customers, dealers, and learning partners by addressing technical queries professionally.
- Partner with product development and service teams to keep training content accurate and relevant.
Team Growth & Professional Development
- Achieve full proficiency in technical knowledge of CLAAS machinery and related engineering processes.
- Complete teaching qualifications (CPD As you progress).
- Actively contribute to team training sessions and industry updates.
Your Profile
Experience
- Experience in agricultural engineering or equivalent engineering fields.
- Demonstrated (or desirable) experience in training delivery (no specialism required).
- Interest in agricultural challenges to stay updated.
- Advantageous:
- Product group specialism (e.g., tractors or forages).
Skills & Knowledge
- Level 3 in Land-Based Engineering (or equivalent).
- Fluent in Microsoft Office (Teams, PowerPoint).
- Understanding of health and safety procedures.
- Ability to be self-motivated while collaborating effectively in a team.
