Job Opportunity
We have a fantastic opportunity to join our UK Team within our Frozen Division working within our Technical Team at our site in Kings Lynn, Norfolk.
Role
This role would be suitable for someone who has experience working within a food manufacturing business in a Quality Assurance role.
Hours
Monday - Friday 08.00 - 16.00 (flexibility required to suit business needs)
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring the quality, safety, integrity, and compliance of raw materials, ingredients, and packaging and their associated processes.
- Supporting the Technical Manager with administrative requirements of monitoring supplier performance.
- Conducting checks on incoming goods to ensure they meet purchasing specifications, performing sampling and inspections against requirements of our divisional Quality Control plan.
- Reporting on specification materials, documenting and issuing non-conformances, and following up corrective actions with internal teams.
- Managing and updating the raw material intake tracker.
- Performing required calibration/verification of test equipment as assigned.
- Creating and maintaining intake sheets for raw material assessment.
- Collecting, preparing, and sending samples for microbiological and chemical testing via the relevant laboratory systems, ensuring sampling plans are carried out as per site and divisional requirements and reviewing results alongside the technical manager/technical team to enable release of materials.
- Organising and conducting site taste panels, working closely with other departments.

- Excellent IT Skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Office 365)
- Effective communication skills (written and oral)
- Experienced in creating, updating, and issuing documentation
- Good understanding of QA principles
