Technical Lead
Application Development Manager
About the Opportunity
We’re supporting a major organisation undergoing a large-scale digital transformation and they’re looking for an experienced Application Development Manager to help lead the next phase of their application modernisation journey.
The Role
The Application Development Manager will be responsible for:
- Leading the design, development, and delivery of modern application services
- Managing and mentoring software engineers, promoting engineering excellence and best practice
- Driving application delivery across:
- Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Microsoft Power Platform
- Microsoft Azure
- Owning Agile delivery processes, including:
- Sprint planning
- Backlog management
- Release cycles
- Building and optimising CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
- Collaborating with architecture and platform teams to deliver secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions
- Supporting cloud-native integrations through:
- Microsoft Azure Logic Apps
- Azure Functions
- Driving automation, quality assurance, and continuous improvement across engineering teams

Ideal candidates will have:
- Strong experience working with Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform
- A strong technical foundation in Microsoft Azure and cloud-native application delivery
- Hands-on experience with:
- Azure DevOps
- CI/CD pipelines
- Release processes
- Experience with:
- Logic Apps
- Function Apps
- Wider Azure integration tooling
- A background in software engineering, ideally with C# / .NET
- Experience leading engineering teams within Agile environments
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop technical teams
