Help Transform the Future of Mortgage Lending
We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead to help shape the next generation of a market-leading lending platform and AI-powered mortgage solutions. This is an opportunity to join a fast-growing fintech organisation using innovative technology to transform the mortgage journey and deliver better outcomes for customers and brokers.
The Opportunity
This is a hands-on technical leadership role where you'll combine architecture, software engineering, and technical leadership to drive the evolution of cloud-native platforms. Working closely with engineering leadership, business stakeholders and development teams, you'll design scalable solutions, mentor engineers and deliver technology that has a direct impact on business success.
AI is a key strategic investment area. You'll play a leading role in developing intelligent solutions that accelerate mortgage decision-making, automate processes and provide instant insights throughout the lending journey.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
