A fully remote Technical Lead role in a fast-paced, global engineering environment, focused on:

- Lead technical standards, architectural decisions, and continuous process improvement
Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Architecture
- Lead the design and architecture of scalable, high-performance software systems
- Define and enforce engineering best practices, code quality, and maintainability standards
- Conduct code reviews and mentoring to elevate team expertise

Risk & Strategy
- Make architectural decisions with a focus on risk mitigation
- Align technical solutions with business and product objectives
- Optimise DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation workflows

Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with developers, QA, designers, and business analysts
- Facilitate delivery planning and solutions alignment with project goals
Requirements
** Qualifications & Experience**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 10+ years in software development, with senior technical leadership experience
Technical Expertise
- Proven architecture/design skills, system scalability, and end-to-end solutions
- Hands-on experience with code reviews, engineering standards, and Agile/Scrum
Leadership & Soft Skills
- Strong mentorship for engineering teams in high-velocity environments
- Decision-making under technical and business constraints
- Collaboration & communication skills (technical and non-technical stakeholders)
- Native British English proficiency (written/spoken)
