About The Role
We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead to join our Product team in Chiswick, West London. In this role you will be responsible for leading the mobile development team in the creation of Native Mobile applications to serve both our subscribers and managers in accessing the services provided by International SOS.
This is an excellent opportunity for a someone with previous experience of developing mobile applications, who is creative and innovative, looking for their next move in a global organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, motivate, and manage a team of software engineers, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to help them achieve their full potential Develop and maintain mobile applications for Android and iOS using Native technologies. Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code Collaborate with product managers, backend developers, designers, and other stakeholders on requirements review, suggest solutions and estimate efforts to build user-friendly applications Ensure that the mobile applications are user friendly, efficient, and adaptive to different screen sizes and device models Optimise applications for maximum speed and scalability Implement app monitoring and analytics Implement app localisation in multiple languages Participate in incidents review and their root cause analysis, identify process issues and plan preventive measures Release applications to iOS and Google Play stores Update internal knowledge base and operational documentation Set clear performance expectations and provide constructive feedback to team members and address underperformance Foster a culture of inclusion, collaboration, and continuous learning within the team
