Closing Date: 2026-07-22

Location: Hampshire and the Isle of Wight Flexible base location within the region, with required site travel and hybrid working available

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: 37 hours per week (Monday – Friday)

Salary: Up to £45,000 (dependent on skills and experience)


About The Role

As Technical Lead, you will:

  • Shape and deliver a high-quality blended learning experience blending theoretical knowledge with practical, hands-on training.
  • Bring expert water treatment process knowledge or a strong background in production/operational roles.
  • Translate complex concepts into clear, accessible training materials for operators.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing priorities while driving continuous improvement in training programs.
  • Contribute to working towards operational excellence through forward-thinking training solutions.

Responsibilities

Training Delivery & Development

  • Deliver engaging training sessions for new and existing operators with high impact.
  • Develop and maintain policy-compliant training materials, assessments, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content aligns with regulatory standards and industry best practice.

Learning Dynamics

  • Facilitate practical, on-the-job training addressing real-world operational challenges.
  • Monitor learner progress and provide constructive, tailored feedback.

Core Experience

  • Proven expertise in water resources, production, or treatment processes, or equivalent competency.
  • Deep understanding of water treatment technicalities, regulatory frameworks, and industry operations.
