This role is with a growing digital product team that’s shifting from project-based work to building their own products. They’re looking for a strong.NET backend-focused Tech Lead who can also work across the full stack when needed. It’s a very hands-on role — you’ll be involved in coding, reviewing PRs, and also leading developers and interacting with clients. The environment is quite fast-paced — you’d be handling multiple projects at once, including large website builds, product development, and API integrations. So they need someone who is comfortable managing a bit of chaos and context switching. Tech stack includes C#,.NET, Azure, and API integrations, with some frontend exposure like React being a plus. The team is relatively small right now, around 6–7 people, and growing quickly as demand for their products increases.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
