Technical Learning Support Assistant in Construction and Engineering

Do you enjoy hands-on work and want to make a real difference to learners in Construction and Engineering?
Lancaster and Morecambe College are seeking a Technical Learning Support Assistant to support students with additional learning needs in both practical workshops and classroom sessions. You will help learners build practical skills, promote safe working practices, contribute to session planning, and monitor and record their progress.
Requirements
- Practical construction or engineering experience
- Ability to relate well to young people and support their individual learning needs
- Strong communication, organization, and a flexible, empathetic approach
- Relevant vocational qualification
- Additional SEND-related or Health & Safety qualifications are an advantage
