Technical Lecturer - Motorsport
Technical Lecturer – Motorsport (Must Have Motorsport Experience)
Location: National College for Motorsport – Silverstone
Salary/Benefits: £33,048 – £38,169 per annum (DOE + Qualifications), plus a Market Supplement of up to £10,000.

About The Role
We are seeking a Technical Lecturer in Motorsport to join the Motorsport Department at The Bedford College Group.
Experience Required: Must have previous direct experience in the motorsport industry.
As a Technical Lecturer, you will support student success through:

Teaching, Learning & Student Achievement
- Deliver high-quality teaching, assessment, and verification across multiple courses and levels, inspiring students to reach their full potential.

Curriculum Planning & Innovative Delivery
- Develop engaging lesson plans and up-to-date learning materials.
- Contribute to curriculum development and innovative teaching practices.

Assessment, Progress & Quality Assurance
- Monitor learner progress and provide timely feedback.
- Align with awarding body standards and support course review processes.

About You (Key Requirements)
Industry Expertise & Teaching Capability
- Strong background in motorsport engineering or related pathways.
- Commitment to achieving a teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE/CertEd).
- Ability to train across engineering disciplines within the sector.
Teaching & Learning
- Delivers high-quality instruction tailored to diverse learners.
- Creates engaging and impactful learning environments.
- Drives student success and measurable outcomes.
Curriculum & Digital Delivery
- Keeps pace with industry developments.
- Comfortable using Virtual Learning Environments (VLEs); open to learn hygiene.
