Technical Manager
Didsbury, South Manchester
Basic Salary £65,000 + Package
A leading residential developer is seeking an experienced Technical Manager to oversee the technical delivery of multiple housing developments from inception through to completion and final handover. Working closely with internal teams, consultants, and subcontractors, you will take responsibility for managing the design process, coordinating technical information, securing approvals, and ensuring projects are delivered on programme, within budget, and to the highest standards.

- Manage external consultants, design teams, and specialist subcontractors.
- Oversee planning, regulatory approvals, Building Regulations, and warranty requirements.
- Coordinate and review architectural and engineering information, ensuring quality, compliance, and buildability.
- Chair and manage technical and design team meetings.
- Provide technical support to site teams and respond to design queries.
- Monitor professional fees and technical budgets.
You will have an Architectural or Engineering background, with proven experience delivering residential developments, a strong understanding of the technical design process, Building Regulations and NHBC standards, and the ability to manage consultants and stakeholders effectively. Degree qualified or professionally accredited, you’ll be highly organised, commercially aware, and an excellent communicator, with AutoCAD experience being advantageous.
