📌 Key Responsibilities

Coordinate design and construction packages:
- Own delivery of fully detailed construction packages and achieving Building Regulation approval.
- Work alongside the Production team and other departments to streamline approvals and avoid delays.

Resource management and cost optimisation:
- Allocate resources proactively within time and budget constraints.
- Identify cost-effective solutions to ensure projects stay on track from feasibility to site completion.

Team leadership and development:
- Develop, mentor, and support team members, fostering a positive, trusting work environment.
- Coach and nurture staff to help them reach their potential.

Support and communication:
- Deliver plans, specifications, and technical information to the Project Team and other departments.
- Resolve queries promptly, maintaining efficient workflows.

Project coordination and compliance:
- Ensure construction drawings meet timescales, Building Regulations, and associated legislation.
- Attend and contribute to design workshops/meetings (chair or take minutes as required).

Consultant management:
- Manage consultant procurement from Tender Enquiry approval to consultant recommendations/appointments.
- Collaborate with external consultants and contractors to support project goals.

Regulatory and compliance compliance:
- Uphold Health and Safety priorities, ensuring CDM Regulations compliance (as Client/Principal Designer).
- Oversee broad Statutory Body approvals, including building control and warranty registrations.

Post-planning obligations:
- Discharge planning conditions and s106 obligations in a timely manner.

Legal and statutory management:
- Manage agreements, licences, wayleaves, easements, substation leases, and Party Wall Awards.

Ongoing learning and industry engagement:
- Stay updated on regulatory changes, product innovations, and research reports.

Support sales and marketing:
- Supply Brochure Plans, conveyance plans, and technical assets to Support Teams.

Construction compliance:
- Oversee construction works to align with approved designs.

- Manage multiple projects simultaneously with staying calm under pressure.
✅ Required Experience & Qualifications

Specialist expertise in:
- Technical management of high-rise, mixed-use, high-complexity residential development projects.
- High-Risk Building scheme experience.

Qualifications:
- Minimum HNC in design/construction (or equivalent).

Software proficiency:
- Microsoft 365 (advanced skill set)
- AutoCAD/Revit.

Professional competence:
- Stay informed on current regulatory trends and industry advancements.

Leadership ability:
- Demonstrated success in leading teams effectively.
