Trinity House works for the benefit and safety of all mariners as a General Lighthouse Authority and maritime charity. You will be a key member of the Field Operations Team, reporting to the Lighthouse Manager. Among your core responsibilities will be to provide line management for a multi-disciplined technical team, including electronic, electrical, mechanical, and civil technicians; you will be responsible for the maintenance of the Trinity House estate in the designated area focusing on the Aids to Navigation but including the civil infrastructure as directed by Trinity House’s business and asset plan; you will ensure compliance with Health and Safety and other relevant legislation including CDM. You will encounter traveling on rough terrain depending on the location of the Aid to Navigation and working in confined spaces. Access to some locations can only be made by boat or helicopter.

Skills, Experience, and Qualifications
Skills and Experience
- Experience of supervising and directing people
- An experienced practitioner with thorough working knowledge and practical experience of engineering project management
- Experience of managing the technical aspects of Navigational Aids maintenance and the use of condition-based maintenance systems

Qualifications
- A level 4 qualification in a relevant engineering discipline, with a working knowledge of others
- Full driving licence
