Location: Inverness
Salary: £55,000 (Full-Time) | 3-Day Week Considered (Pro Rata)
Job Type: Permanent

Our client, a growing food manufacturing business, is looking to appoint a Technical Manager to lead the site's Technical and Quality function.

Reporting into senior management, you will be responsible for maintaining Food Safety and Quality Management Systems, ensuring compliance with BRCGS and customer standards, leading the HACCP programme, managing audits and driving a strong food safety culture across the site.

You will also lead a small Technical and Quality team, oversee laboratory activities, manage customer and retailer communications, and drive continuous improvement across quality systems and site standards.

About You

  • Experience in a Technical Manager, Quality Manager or similar role within food manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of BRCGS, HACCP and food safety systems.
  • Experience managing audits, customer requirements and quality management systems.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Food Science or related qualification preferred.
