Technical Manager – Residential Development (London Focused)
Potensis Selection are partnering with a leading housebuilder to appoint a talented Technical Manager for their expanding team.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a London-focused residential developer, renowned for delivering high-quality, design-led homes. With a growing project pipeline and a supportive team culture, the company invests in both projects and its people. The ideal candidate will lead technical coordination from planning through to final delivery, ensuring seamless project execution.

- Drive projects from planning stages to delivery, ensuring smooth progression
- Lead the technical process, managing consultants and delivery teams
- Oversee external planning consultants to produce accurate, timely information
- Manage compliance with planning regulations, Building Regulations, NHBC submissions, and legal agreements
- Maintain alignment between design programmes and construction timelines
- Collaborate with Commercial teams to manage budgets and consultant costs effectively
- Act as the key technical troubleshooter, coordinating teams and resolving site queries
Requirements & Qualifications

- Proven experience as Senior Technical Coordinator or Technical Manager
- Preferred professional qualifications: RICS, CIOB, CIAT, or RIBA
- Strong expertise in building regulations, risk assessment, and technical coordination
- Confidence in leading meetings and delivering decisive technical decisions
- Ability to manage multiple live projects, remain highly organised, and proactive
- An eye for quality and buildability, with a focus on premium outcomes
