Team - Technical Marketing

Working Pattern

  • Hybrid - 2 days per week in the Vitality London Office. Full time, 37.5 hours per week.

What this Role is All About

The Technical Marketing Analyst role sits within the Technical Marketing team, which acts as a key link between Product Development, Marketing and Distribution. Combining market research and commercial insight, the role supports product positioning, competitor analysis, thought leadership activity and strategic marketing initiatives across the UK health and protection market. Working closely with teams across the business, this position provides the opportunity to contribute to the development and promotion of innovative insurance solutions while building expertise within a commercially focused environment.

Key Actions

  • Develop a deep understanding of the UK health and protection market
  • Conduct competitor product analysis to support market-leading product positioning
  • Produce market insights and thought leadership content to support marketing activity
  • Develop tools and resources to help advisers understand and promote products
  • Create effective technical marketing messages that showcase key product strengths
  • Review and support the development of marketing literature and communications
  • Collaborate with Product Development teams to support new product innovation
  • Respond to technical queries from the sales team and wider business
  • Coordinate the production of technical marketing collateral and materials
  • Support the planning and delivery of webinars for internal sales audiences
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders across the business
  • Work closely with Product, Underwriting, Sales, Marketing and Training teams to support product launches and strategic initiatives

What do you Need to Thrive?

  • Degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Economics, Life Sciences or a related analytical discipline
  • Strong numerical and analytical capability with the ability to interpret complex information
  • Confidence producing presentations and communicating insights to a range of audiences
  • Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to problem solving
  • Competent Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills
  • Commercial curiosity with an interest in the health and protection insurance market
  • Ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders across multiple business areas
